Yeah, I know. It's almost random. Why is an artist writing a Spanish curriculum?
If you've landed here because of my Basic Spanish for Homeschoolers .com address, welcome. Originally I had tried to start a separate blog for this, but for reasons too complicated to explain, it became difficult to maintain. So, as weird as this is, here is where we're at -- sharing this concept on my original blog, where it's incubating, in a sense.
Working at a homeschool program where I taught Spanish to K-6th graders, I didn't like my available options. The books seemed to present information at random and that upset me. I began creating work sheets for the kids, and eventually I collected them and self-published two books in 2015. In hindsight it isn't rational, but that was my impetus.
I used the books at the end of the 2015 school year and for the 2015-2016 school year. Do I want to eventually re-edit and sell them? Yes, of course!
In the meantime, I'm adapting the curriculum and creating a new generation of worksheets, that I really hope to put up for sale soon. [insert praying hands emoji here! LOL] I'll update this page as soon as I can with that info.
